Architecture Lab

The Lab has been specially designed for the engineering students. The UCI Lab can be accomodate for sixty students at a time. The Lab is specially facilitated for Drawing & Development for special projects. Development and evaluation of numerical models for indoor heat and contaminant distribution simulations. Studies of thermal and indoor air quality performance of different ventilation strategies.To experience the full spectrum of tasks involved in a large, realistic, group-based design project - architecture development, organization design, logic design, placement and routing, construction design and debugging. The Building Environment Simulation and Testing Facility is a state of the art installation that is part of the Mechanical Building Systems Laboratory. The facility is used for education and research and is designed for full scale thermal and air quality research. This facility has been designed for maximum flexibility to encourage a wide variety of research and testing programs. UCI is dedicated to understanding and improving the structural performance and durability of building envelope systems.  Such research and development are vital concerns to architects, engineers, building contractors, building owners and insurers.

Computer Lab

These labs are highly facilitated with DELL Desktop PC & high resolution LCD monitors. All the CPUs are facilitated with high speed internet connection. The Campus provides wireless network for the laptop users. This section contains a collection of documents and guides in various formats, such as html, postscript and text. Medical Examination Room

This room is prepared for nursing students to practice physical examination skills. The purpose of this medical examination room is to provide nursing students a fully equipped environment to practice improve their skills. Students can be familiar to the equipment used the actual complex clinical environment before their clinical posting.

Simulated Ward

This is a model ward for the nursing students to practice their nursing procedure. The area is set up like a real hospital environment. A simulated ward environment is created in the clinical skills centre around patients with common medical conditions for nursing students to practice.

Objective:

• To develop an interprofessional simulated ward environment for junior nursing students and to identify formative assessment of the exercise.
• To allow students to experience the actual complex clinical environment with hands on approach.
• To built effective leadership, the ability to priorities workload and competence in clinical performance.

Basic Skills Laboratory

The basic skills laboratory offers the students the opportunity to practice nursing skills in a controlled environment with supervision.

The objective of having the basic skills laboratory is to train students to become competent and experts in performing different nursing procedure before their clinical posting in the basic skill laboratory. It consists of all anatomical models for various medical science subjects.

Class Rooms

All the class rooms are highly furnished & clean. WIFI & wireless internet connection areprovided. The class rooms are facilitated with Multimedia Projector & Big Screens.
